Today's Lunch Menu-
Vegetable Soup
Peas
Mashed Potatoes
Chicken Tarragon
Milk

Sounds like a pretty good lunch right?
Now throw away the picture you have in your mind and imagine all of those things blended up and served at the consistency of applesauce!!
She wasn't to thrilled with lunch today.

Her milk brand is called "thick and easy"
Grant tried the milk and was not impressed

Today with the help up the physical therapist she stood up for a minute!!

Phrase of the day" I'm better than I was, not as good as I will be"

It has been a good day.

I'm so glad you decided to start this blog. I live in utah and have been receiving updates from my sister-in-law who also lives in utah, who was receiving updates from someone else, and on the lists go. It was much appreciated, but I'm excited to be able to read about your mothers improvements and successes. She is such a strong woman. She taught me in seminary and survived so I know she can overcome any challenge that's thrown at her. I sure love her and appreciate the great influence and impact she's had in my life. I wish there was more I could do, but just know that she's in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you SO much for this blog. What a great way to share her progress and keep in touch with SO many friends and family! Sharon is in my prayers and our family prayers. She is such a great woman and wonderful example. Please give her my love and a BIG hug! She reminds me of Myrna, Nani, everytime I think or see her. :)

This is a great way to help us keep up to date with Sharon's progress. I was her Visiting Teacher years ago & I don't ever recall being released....so please let her know I will pray for her and for your family every day. If there is anything else I can do just let me know. Merry Leverton

Can we puree cupcakes? Will they allow that? Thick and easy lemon meringue ones? I'll have to work on that...

Sharon, I love you.

I am so happy that you stood up. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. We mention your name specifically at each of our family and individual prayers. Macee and Cole only know you as Emma's and Grant's grandma, but I know you as a very strong woman and loving mom. Keep up the good progress!

Thank you for this blog. We are praying for all of the family. Please tell Sharon we love her and know she is being looked after both here and above. The time we served with Dan and Sharon in the branch are some of our very best memories.

It is so awesome to have a way to keep in touch. I know from Curt's accident that visiting is hard. Sherrie, I am here and available to help YOU with anything. I know that your life continues even though you want it to stop. Soooo, please let me know what I can do. Sharon, you know I love you and your humor! I can't imagine how overwhelmed the heavens are with prayers, temple slips, fasting, etc. We all know how darn strong and stubborn you are too! Now put it to good use :)
Your motto is AWESOME. Love to the rest of the fam too.
XO, Martie

Well, Sharon girl, those grandkids were just too much for ya, huh? Now, I could have totally understood you doing something silly like this when we were teaching seminary! Roger and I just returned from the temple and, of course, put your name in (as have many others, I'm sure). You will beat this, I have no doubts. If years of seminary couldn't get you down, this little set back certainly won't! You are in our prays always.

Girls, I would be happy to do anything I can to help. Please keep me in mind. This blog is great.
Give Sharon a hug from me.
Love and extra hugs, Marilyn

I love her optimism. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this blog. I know you must all be busy and stressed with the changes happening in your family right now but we really appreciate it. We all love your Mom so much. She is in our prayers. I think about her all day and hope each day she gets better. We love you all.

Yay for standing up! I've had that milk...I understand Grant's response. Tell Sharon 'hey' from us and let her know Charlie is praying for Grandma Sharon. (So are the rest of us.)
